I have obtained FREE tickets to see the Shakespheare Theater Company production of Hamlet. Hamlet has captivated audiences for 400 years with its explorations of life, love, duty and vengeance. Commanded by his murdered father's ghost to seek revenge, Hamlet struggles with the human and spiritual costs of pursuing justice. Featuring some of the most beautiful language ever written, Hamlet marks a turning point in Shakespeare's career toward more complex depictions of good and evil, of heroes and villains.

Situated in the midst of lush woodland, the Carter Barron Amphitheater provides a wide variety of excellent entertainment in a dramatic setting. The outdoor, Greek-style theater intensifies the energy coming off the stage. With nearly half the productions free to the public, Carter Barron can be a great way to spend a warm summer night without spending too much. More intimate than Wolf Trap, Carter Barron is well-known for a laid-back, come-as-you-are attitude and for not having a bad seat.
